How do I start playing on Realcore?
Getting started takes less than two minutes:
1. Head over to the Download page to get the official Realcore game client.
2. Visit the Registration page to create your account number, choose a password, and solve the item challenge.
3. Launch the client, log in with your credentials, and begin your adventure!
Is Realcore free to play?
Yes, Realcore is 100% free to play. All game areas, boat travels, spells, premium towns (such as Edron, Darashia, Ankrahmun), and character promotions are unlocked and accessible to everyone without requiring any subscription.
What is the Item Challenge on the registration page?
The Item Challenge is an image-based security check designed specifically for classic MMORPG players. You are shown an authentic game item and asked to select its in-game name from multiple choices. This effectively blocks automated bot scripts while remaining effortless for genuine players.
Can I play on Linux or macOS?
The game client natively supports Windows (7, 10, 11). Linux and macOS users can easily run the client using Wine or CrossOver with full graphical and audio support.
2. Gameplay & World Mechanics
What game version and mechanics does Realcore follow?
Realcore is built around the authentic 7.4 experience. Mechanics include classic spell formulas, manual aim runes, potion and fluid drinking, classic attack speeds, traditional monster AI, and the original continent and islands.
How does the death penalty work?
Dying incurs a classic experience, skill, and container/equipment loss. Players can safeguard their progression by purchasing the 5 classic blessings from in-game hermits and priests across the world, significantly reducing the loss upon death.
Are runes sold in magic shops?
To preserve the classic mage economy, high-tier combat runes (like Sudden Death, Heavy Magic Missile, and Ultimate Healing runes) are player-crafted by Sorcerers and Druids. Blank runes and basic supplies can be purchased from magic shops.
When do server saves occur?
The server automatically saves game state and performs daily maintenance at scheduled hours. A live countdown to the next server save is always visible in the right sidebar of the website.
3. Character Bazaar & Houses
What is the Character Bazaar?
The Character Bazaar allows players to list their characters for public auction using Realcoins. The transaction is completely automated and secure: once an auction concludes, the character and its snapshot items are transferred to the highest bidder without any risk of account hijacking.
Can I change my character's name or sex?
Yes. From your My Account panel, you can change your character's sex or request a character rename in exchange for Realcoins. To prevent deception, previous character names remain visible on the character profile with a strikethrough for a set period.
How do house auctions work?
You can browse all houses and guildhalls across the world on the Houses page. Bids are made in regular game gold. When an auction ends, the winner receives the house key in their town depot at the next server save.
4. Realcoins & Voluntary Donations
What are Realcoins?
Realcoins are voluntary convenience tokens used for account management features, character renames, sex changes, and bidding in the player-to-player Character Bazaar. They do not grant unfair in-game advantages or overpowered gear.
Can I transfer Realcoins to a friend?
Yes! Log in and visit Transfer Realcoins. You can transfer coins to any active account instantly with password confirmation and automated ledger recording.
What payment methods are supported?
We support instant Pix payments and credit cards through secure integrated payment gateways (Efí Bank and Stripe). Coins are credited automatically as soon as payment confirmation is received.
5. Security & Account Recovery
What is a Recovery Key?
A Recovery Key is a unique 30-character secret code generated in your Account Settings. It allows you to reset your password instantly if you ever lose access to your account. Write it down in a safe, offline location — it is only displayed once!
What should I do if I forgot my password?
Navigate to the Account Lost page. Enter your Account Number and your Recovery Key to define a new password immediately.
